How do I request a quote for a project?

You can request a quote by contacting us through our website or giving us a call. We’ll schedule a convenient time to visit your location, assess the project, and provide you with a detailed estimate.

Are your services available for residential and commercial properties?

Yes, we serve both residential and commercial customers. Whether you need home repairs, office maintenance, or any other handyman services, we’ve got you covered.

How soon can you start a project after I request a service?

Our availability may vary depending on our schedule, but we strive to accommodate your needs as soon as possible. Contact us, and we’ll discuss our earliest availability for your project. We usually have availability within 1 to 4 weeks, depending on the season. We schedule jobs to be done Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm (if it is a small job, we would schedule no later than 3 pm – if it is a larger job, we will not schedule after 12 pm). We DO NOT schedule afterhours (between 5 pm and 7 am).

What types of tasks can a handyman perform?

Our handymen are skilled in a wide range of tasks, including basic repairs, installations, and maintenance work. Some common handyman tasks include fixing a leaky faucet, hanging shelves or curtains, assembling furniture, or painting a room. Is it necessary to be present while the handyman is working?

It is not absolutely necessary, but we prefer to have someone at the home that is at least 18 years old. You may arrange for us to gain access to your property and to lock it after we leave. If you are out-of-state, we can provide pictures of the finished job that would be emailed along with the invoice. In all cases we treat your home with the utmost respect and care.

Are handyman service estimates free?

Estimates are free for homes within 20 miles of our offices.

Do you charge by the job or by the hour?

We charge by the hour and by the job. Larger jobs are estimate by the job but smaller jobs such as assembly, installing blinds, hanging items, etc. are charged by the hour.

Do you guarantee your services?

Do you provide a warranty?

Yes we do. We provide a one (1) year warranty covering labor and materials supplied by Omaha Handyman Service. Learn more here.

Are you a licensed and insured contractor?

Yes, we are fully licensed and commercially insured. We hold all required licenses for a handyman company in Nebraska. Check out our About Us page to learn more about our company.

Do you schedule appointments on Saturdays or Sundays?

Saturday appointments are quickly filled and usually require a 4 to 6 week wait. We do not book appointments for Sunday.

Do I provide necessary materials for my project?

In some cases we prefer that customers purchase some of the items needed for a job. Items such as light fixtures, faucets, toilets, shelves, ceiling fans, tile, laminate flooring, and others that are to our customer’s liking or preference. Construction items such as drywall, lumber, repair parts, etc. are better purchased by us, so that we get the correct items.

Do you require a deposit?

We only require a deposit for costly materials when the cost is more than $1,000. Any refunds would require a re-stocking fee, depending on the cost of the parts or materials.

How do I pay for services rendered at my property?

We accept cash, check, and credit cards. A 3% fee is added to the total of the invoice when paying by credit card.
